(West Side of Street)

The cement block building which is on this site today was built about 1956/57 for use as the "Village Clinic".

Historically, there was a building of some kind on this site from the late 1850s until the late 1880s. The 1872 map of the Village has a square footprint on this site, owner William Axford. However, the declining assessed values of the property from 1883 to 1891, when the assessed value was only $50, indicate the lot became vacant (as seen in a photo in Heritage, pg.58) when the property was part of Dr. Clark Sutherland's house lot.
